Nice weathering! I’m working on my own right now, but you just made me think that weathering is pretty cool! How did you achieve this affect?

Thanks. The weathering is sponge-chipping the off-white into the red, then sponge chipping dark grey onto both. A little of the sand colour watered-down over lower legs.

@Bananaskin - take a small piece of sponge (or use one of the Green Stuff World sponges in a tube), dip in paint, sponge onto a tissue to remove most paint, then dab onto the model to simulate chips, focusing on edges and don’t make it too uniform. It is a bit unpredictable but it’s quick! @ The Emperor - thank you.
I tried to copy the scheme from the Clone Wars animated series. The episode where Ima Gun Di dies on Ryloth. I thought they were called Outer Rim Garrison but perhaps I misremember.

Ah! I’ve never watched the OG Clone Wars, but I do remember seeing some red clones somewhere!
